Just in

INEC had said it respects the court's decision, and that it had made provision for this eventuality. Elections will go ahead as planned - with Atiku Abubakar's name on the ballot paper. The opposition are also meeting today, to try and come up with a concensus candidate to run against Yar'Adua and the PDP juggernaut. This will be a straight fight between Atiku and Buhari. How much clout does Atiku actually have? We're about to find out.

With Atiku standing naked at the edge of a cliff, isn't the opposition about to be sapped of its energy ? This would have been an opportunity for the opposition to advance its cause, if truly a just one.

I think Atiku should be given the mandate by the oppposition as he is now being seen as an epitome of justice and fair play. People are more sympathetic to him now and can VOTE him, just to upset teh PDP's grand design to win the elections at all cost.

Moreover, he has the political clout, money, followership, connections, and the LAW to fully withstnd all stumbling darts from Obj and cohorts.
