I never said it, but...
I told my Dukist friends in private - but never mentioned it in public - that if Donald Duke won the PDP nomination, people would have to start believing in miracles. Crying Madonnas, flying pigs, and that kind of thing. Well, he's pulled out now because the PDP presidential nomination is going north...

Nkem, your doubts have been proven to be correct - you were right! What else can one say? In a normal, civilised, and truly democratic contest, it would have been realistic to believe that someone like Duke would get his party's presidential nomination. I guess those of us who believed in the dream should try and keep hope alive (difficult as it may be) and see how it all unfolds.
it was only a matter of time. yet, this is the last thing i expected hear today. terribly sad.
Is this where 'I told you so?' comes in?
