But I agree with Azuka. It's different when you put your real name to it (as opposed to blogging anonymously). I think you've done the right thing; you're no chicken to me!:->
It's easy to write about anything, for people who blog anonymously. It doesn't take any courage at all, just a willingness to do so. It's a different case for those whose names/faces can be connected to the blog.
Anyway, people go to different blogs for different things. Keep doing your own thing.
A friend once told me, "Never be embarrassed to hold your ground on issues that you as an adult should be able to do without asking for permission".
That advice came in useful when about 12 years ago, Internet voyeurism allowed one to explore sites of an adult nature.
Suddenly, I could not visit those sites because my ISP had blocked them.
So, I visited the office in good small-town Ipswich to enquire about this limitation of service.
Obviously, his tack was to try and have me red-faced, but I simply told him, the service I pay for is unrestrained access to the Internet which includes access to porn sites if you may care and I know that it has been limited.
Well, his face went red with embarrassment, but that little chat sorted out the problem.
If you have to use a pseudonym, use one, but I am sure your are writing something that would put Lady Chatterley's Lover in the shade.
I blush!!!
Getting that over with, enough of the chicken and let's see the stud and the myth of the black man.
[Hand over mouth in appalling disapproval.] Shocking revelations start here!!!!
What's the crap about anonymous people being cowardly? The whole point is you don't want people to know who you are but you want your views aired. It's pretty much like a democratic society isn't it? This is why I don't like blogs - you 'against anonymous' crowd make me sick! Nkem be yourself - write about sex if you want. Or not..
There's a thin line between insanity and genius, and I'm standing on it. Disclaimer: the (few, piffling) views reflected on this blog are in no way representative of any organisations brave enough to employ me...
